Still not sure what to think of this series. The characters are bland, especially the heroine, Bonnie, even though this issue provides hints of some of her powers in this new world. I think the problem is the lack of world-building and character/plot development. I'm just having trouble believing this world. I know it's a fantasy, but good fantasies cause you to believe in their worlds. I'm hoping Millar develops things more strongly later on, but it looks like he is diving into his story proper now, with plenty of action promised. The artwork and writing is good enough that I'm still intrigued to see what Millar does, so we'll see.Product details

Still not sure what to think of this series. The characters are bland, especially the heroine, Bonnie, even though this issue provides hints of some of her powers in this new world.
